Horse Description
Briosa is an Azteca mare - one-half Andalusian and one-
half Quarterhorse. She is perhaps the most "perfect"
horse I have ever seen - she is just flawless! Her
conformation is definitely a 10! She will probably never
be very tall, but should reach 15 hands at maturity. Her
temperament is to die for - she is so willing and a
beautiful mover - very large length of stride, comes well
underneath herself, does not fight the bit. Even though
she is being ridden very lightly this summer, and will not
start into "serious" work until next spring, she has three
very, very consistent gaits. She is so well-balanced that
she canters like a highly trained dressage horse - never
rushes it, just stays very slow and consistent. She will
make the more petite rider a wonderful mare - with
absolutely no "marish" tendencies. Brioso has a lot of
substance and will develop lots more as she matures.
