Horse Description
Wonderful Akhal-Teke broodmare! Kamiah is one of the sweetest mares you will ever come across! She is gentle and kind to other horses, whether she knows them or not, and is easy to handle in any situation--including breeding! She is a loving, gentle and patient mother who is happiest when she has a baby at her side.





Kamiah's color is a beautiful ultra-light-blonde chestnut, with auburn legs, mane & tail, and an auburn dorsal stripe. She has the legendary Akhal-Teke metallic sheen and will pass it on to her offspring. Kamiah's sweet & demure personality makes her a joy to have in your herd!




Kamiah is being offered as a broodmare-only. She was negelcted in her first 4 years of life and as a


result of malnutrition and a total lack of hoof care, she developed ringbone in both hind legs. She is now maintained with natural barefoot trimming and has been making a lot of improvement. Fortunately, since the cause of her ringbone was not genetic, she will not pass it on to her off-spring. Kamiah had a gorgeous purebred filly in 2006, who is currently for sale as well.
