Horse Description
Nube is an absolutely gorgeous 5 yr old dapple grey breeding stock mare with exceptional movement and conformation. She had 90 days as a 3 yr old with previous owner. She has been used as a broodmare since our purchase and is in foal to a blk/white 16.2 homozygous stallion, WS Time For Tears. Nube's first filly to this stud is a grey/white tovero that is a wonderful representation of both sire and dam's lineage. Nube is by the legendary Zippo Doc Bar (ROM's in halter, hus, wp), top 10 world finish in 1996. Nube's dam, Polly DT is herself a proven show mare with Novice/Amatuer,Open and PAC ROM's and Certificates of Achivement as follows: OPEN - 22 HUS pts, 13 WP pts and 2 PLSR DRVNG pts, NOV/AMT pts 6 WP, PAC - 29 ENG performance pts, 7 Halter and 4 WP pts. Nube's granddam Ima Dodger Doll has open points as follows: has 24 Grands and 6 Reserves in Halter, 15 WP, 5 Reining, she also has the following youth points: Halter 80, Showmanship - 17 and WP 3. Nube's lineage speaks for itself. She has the size, looks, conformation and most importantly movement to be a contender in the show ring or continue to produce outstanding show prospects. Nube is an easy mare to have in the barn, no bad habits, she is easy to bathe, clip, load and work around. She has excellent feet and bone. I have contacted AQHA about double registering her, they encouraged me to send the application based on the QH lineage and performance history behind her.
