Abi is a very bold mare with a wonderful disposition.
She is very fast with a quick turn. Very friendly and
easy to catch. Just got out of training. Has always been
broke, but a few troubles (head swinging, etc.) found
out it was the bit pinching her mouth. Got a new bit and
now she is doing great. Also, she definitely knows that
she is in charge with me (I am not confident with
horses). She did great with the Trainer (the trainer
showed her that she, the trainer, was in charge) Trainer
worked on getting her to backup quickly. Also, staying in
her right lead (always wants to be in the left and was
bouncy). We perfected that. Pictures are very fuzzy
(daughter took them), but atleast you get an idea. She
has showed in halter when she was younger. She ties
well, loads well and loves being sprayed with the hose
after a hard ride. She has had one foal. No medical
problems, healthy, very calm for an Arabian. Not too
spooked over anything. We take the 4 wheeler out with
her, lawnmower in the pasture, log splitter noise next to
pasture, etc. No nervousness about sounds. Very sweet
horse, good for 12 years and up if is confident around
horses, otherwise Abi will be in charge and she will quit
riding when she says she will quit riding. Doesn't bite,
rear or buck off. Although she has been trained in
Western and has a good fast turn on her (for barrels
and such), she could definitely be trained English also. I
