Horse Description
Bud is double registered American Sport Pony, Welsh-Percheron cross. He is 13.2hh, 11 years old, and black with white markings with a long and full mane and tail. Bud has been shown as a jumper, and in eventing, dressage and driving, he does it all! Bud is a wonderful, lovable guy who passes his intelligence, movement, grace, willing disposition and sweet temperament on to all his babies. He has a been there-done that attitude, is extremely easy to handle, laid back and a gentleman on the ground, under saddle and during breeding. He is all one could ever ask for in a stallion and more! Crossing Bud with a TB, Arab, Quarter Horse and several other breeds will produce a valuable and versatile sport pony. He is for sale only due to financial problems, otherwise we would never dream of parting with him! We would accept any reasonable offers on him as long as he is going to a good home. Although Bud is a very sweet boy, he would not be acceptable for a child or timid rider. His ideal home would be somewhere he would be worked with on a regular basis by an experienced rider or at a breeding farm where he would get ample turn out. Thank you!!
