Horse Description
Ben is a 4 year old sorrel overo APHA gelding. Breeding includes Zippo Pine Bar, Gran Loot, Skip D Bar and Sunny Dee Bar. He currently stands 15.3 hh. He is awesome on trail. He will walk over tarps, through huge piles of trash; you name it he will go through it. Nothing seems to bother him. Put him anywhere in the pack, he will be happy. He has been ridden thru all types of areas, busy streets, new construction sites, streams, state trails , etc. Most horses would spook at balloons, flags, signs, “horse eating” objects, etc, not Ben, he would rather eat the balloons and read the signs!! Big semis, trash trucks, motorcycles, etc have passed us, Ben doesn’t care, he doesn’t react off of other horses either. He is truly a superb trail horse. You won’t find any other horse that is better out on the trail than Ben. He was also raised on a working ranch up in Oregon and has been around cows. He was shown western pleasure as a 2 year old (although, may need a short refresher). Passed the mounted posse test. He’s like riding a couch. Very very comfy. He rides both English and Western and we ride him in an O-Ring Snaffle bit. Aside from being a great riding horse he also has the stunning looks to go along with it. He is tall and has that perfect build. He has a gorgeous unusually marked face with big brown eyes and black eyeliner. He has a small area of white under his belly. He has good ground manners. Clips, trailers, ties, bathes, lunges, etc. UTD on all shots, west nile, worming, etc. Has excellent feet so we don’t keep shoes on him. He has had a full vet examination done in March of 2006 and he passed with flying colors. Ben is a very special horse so he is going to an approved home only. $5000 OBO. Video available.
