Pepper is a 15.2hh mare with the perfect disposition!
She is a DREAM to handle both on the ground and under
saddle. She picks up her feet, is great for baths and
clipping, stands tied for hours. Very good with other
horses, not an Alpha, gets along well with geldings as
well as other mares. She has a fantastic personality!
She is very friendly, will come when you call her, loves
to be pet and rubbed, you can hold her head in your
arms, she loves attention! She stands perfectly still to
mount, has a perfect neck rein on her! Shes a
babysitter, could walk all day, but is attentive when
more experienced riders are on her, and is responsive
to your aids. Can go English or Western, breaks at the
poll very well, soft mouth! Can ride on a loose rein
easily. Works very well off of seat and legs. Great stop
even from a quick canter! Solid feet, no lameness
issues. She is NOT spooky, is OK with quads, cars, loud
or startling noises.
I can't say enough good things abut this mare, she
really could go in any direction you would like to take
her. Shes an experienced Western and Dressage horse,
and is perfect for a beginner or amateur rider. She will
take care of you!
I bought this horse to train and resell, however she is
one i would have loved to keep, if i had the room. These
kind are hard to come by! Also, an interesting side note:
Her Great Granddaddy was the famous Native Dancer!
She looks so much like him, and has his athleticism, but
NOT a hot or high strung TB attitude!
