"SHADOW'S" PRICE IS $800 or BEST OFFER! Her PRICE is CUT for a QUICK SALE & HERD DISPERSAL DUE to my MEDICAL REASONS! Her price has been slashed from $2500. In her pictures, she is being ridden with a rope halter and roping reins, bareback, out in our pasture by my beginner son. She needs a good home! She is only open this year because I have to sell what I have. Now you can breed her to your favorite stallion, or leave her open for joy riding. She just needs to get back in condition for riding. Shadow is a beautiful blood bay, line-bred Skipper W, with elegant movement. That is what drew me to her. DO NOT let this mare's age fool you. She is well bred, an easy breeder, and broke to ride. She has won some ribbons in Open Hunter/Jumper as a four year old (last picture)! I have not been able to ride her as much as I would have liked, because of my severe back and neck problems. Shadow's sire, SILENTS SHADOW, was a 16 Hand AQHA Champion by 3 years old, AQHA CHAMPION in WESTERN RIDING, SUPERIOR in HALTER and WESTERN PLEASURE. She foaled her (total) 9th foal to Excalibur Andy, an AQHA palomino DOC BAR grandson, and the same sire of her last foal, Docs Silent Hawk, (he's SOLD, and congratulations to Melissa on her purchase of him). If you want to see him, he is still under "ALL OWNER ADS". If you saw her last year's colt, you would know why we bred her back to the same sire. Her 2007 buckskin colt, "Maestro," has a blaze and 3 socks. He was weaned on Nov. 25th, '07. The ONLY REASON I'm selling this great mare, is because of my back/neck, and I have to cut back on my herd before my boys fly the coop and I'm left with all of the feeding.
