BLEW MOUNTAIN SKYE is an impressive head-turner. Gleaming black Thoroughbred/Shire cross with lovely mane and tail, white blaze and matched hind socks. * Excellent eventing potential * BROAD TALENT BASE: Primary mount of part-time trainer for 2 years for variety of tasks in diverse environments. Endless miles of mountain trails plus alongside road. Takes on steep inclines and water without question. Basic dressage foundation. Very gifted jumper, though little formal experience. Rode calmly in large parade. Works cattle willingly and recently started on neck reining. Ground drives and will haul logs and pack. Has had a foal. Floating gaits with straight, true movement. Completely clean, solid bone on legs. PLEASING TEMPERAMENT: Industrious, focused worker. Endearing desire to connect with owner, but will also perform well for others. Stands quietly for mounting. Mannerly with other horses under saddle and in pasture. Somewhat sensitive but rational. Not a runaway. Trailers nicely. Cooperative to shoe. No problem with clippers, spray or baths. SKYE was not started until age 8 but is exceptionally talented and intelligent.
