Horse Description

Lou is a beautiful and talented mare that has more than proven herself in the showring. She is a true all- around horse who has won at Halter, Showmanship, Western Pleasure, Trail, Reining, and Speed Events. This mare is one beautiful mover and could easily compete in English classes. She loves kids, and can even be ridden bareback and bridless. Lou is great in the mountains and loves to work cattle. She can go all day and will give you 110% the entire time. This mare was started naturally and is very trusting. She is the 2007 PHSC All-Around Horse. Lou was also the 2004 PHSC SSA Western Pleasure and Barrel futurity winner. She has over $4000 LTE in futurities and year end winnings. Her sire, SAVE THE FARM, is a APHA Champion with Superiors in Halter and Western Pleasure. He was a Reserve National Champion Calf Roping horse with points also in Heeling, Steer Stopping, Cutting, and Trail. The dam, OPIES HEATHER, is also a APHA Champion with Superiors in Showmanship and Western Pleasure, ROM's in Halter and Trail, and points also in Horsemanship, and Hunter Under Saddle. I have had this mare her entire life and can guarantee she has no holes in her training. Lou is excellent to shoe, clip, haul, vaccinate, and worm.
