Horse Description
$1800/OBO Less for good match!!!! Very pretty 15.2hh
7 yr. old APHA bay tobiano mare sadly for sale. Jumps
3, started on dressage/cross country. Happy jumper,
quick but controllable. Excellent ground manners, shots,
braiding, pulling, trimming, farrier work, bathing all
untied, blankets, stands tied forever, is nice to feed
(doesnt attack or bare teeth), can ride with her eyes
covered, backs, pivots on front and hind, sidepasses,
starting to half-pass, neck reins and direct reins, flying
lead changes, responds to leg cues, trail rides, cattle
drives, open gates off her, broke to drive (as a two year
old, we havent had anything behind her besides the kids
on a sled or in a wagon lately), rides double, bareback
and with just a halter. Used to tractors, kids, dogs, cats,
chainsaws, air-nailers, air compresssors, walks over
tarps, bridges, poles, etc. Takes fly spray and tolerates
her head being washed. Won SESDHSA In-Hand Trail
2001 as a yearling, usually places well in Hunter-Hack in
local shows. Very quick, potential for a games horse.
Mare also used as trail horse, family horse (no
beginners, please). She tries to please, and is a very
willing student, also very forgiving. Husband says she
must go since were not close enough to go to horse
trials and she should be an eventer...Due to injury and
pregnancy, I cant give her the time/job she deserves. I
have raised this mare myself and it breaks my heart to
sell her, shes too good to sit around. She desperately
wants a job. $1800/OBO, price very negotiable to good
