Horse Description
Worked as a kid's horse for us. She's very much on the
lazy side and she'll never run off, never spook, etc. She
did a few pony club lessons and games with my
daughter and I'm pretty sure much of that Rosie had
never done but she handled it like a pro. If she thinks
she can get away with stuff, she'll try it, so I don't
recommend her as a complete first horse for a family,
but as long as someone has horse experience that can
step in and make Rosie do things right every once in
awhile, you'll have no problems. Pretty much like any
other horse who is not a complete deadhead. Very low
in the herd. Very mild cribber when she's stuck in a stall
w a shred of food to munch on. I have experimented
with a collar and it stops her completely, but if she's in
her stall she's eating so we don't keep a collar on her.
Pretty easy keeper, she gets hay and grain but I
seriously doubt she needs the grain. Can show at an
indoor arena. Pics/video avail.
