Horse Description
He is a 2004 colt out of FO Sunlit Sienna (Focus Shalerro x Charmming Lateefa) and by VO Shahdeen (Safeen x MB Naahiel). He was First Place at the 2005 Fall Arabian Classic PB Colts 2 & Under class in Lexington VA on his first time in the show ring. Shaheen's pedigree includes many great Egyptian Arabians - some of which include his grandsire, Safeen, by *Ibn Safinaz who produces superbly balanced confirmation and exciting action. Safeen was the only foal out of Abitibi Madeena. Abitibi Madeena was sired by Imperial Madheen, a multi-champion performance and halter horse in his own right. On Shaheen's dam's side, he carries the blood of Focus Shalerro, an outstanding 16h Ruminaja Ali grandson with numerous championships and also carries the blood of the exquisite and exotic Prince Charmming, a flaxen liver chestnut stallion by *Ibn Alaa Eldin. Excellent mover -- potential Hunter Under Saddle or Country Pleasure. Currently started in training with Brock Griffith of Uwharrie River Farms (winner of the 2008 NC East Coast Trainers Challenge).
