Horse Description
Dark Moon Shadow has more ring presence than I have
seen in a long time. He has the "You must watch me!"
boldness that is so desirable. His fluid action and
athleticism while moving at any gait as well as his
excellent conformation will allow him to perform easily
in any discipline you choose. For all of his elegance and
charisma he is a horse that is intelligent and loving, a
real people pleaser, and is easy to work with. He is
truly a great horse in need of a loving partner. He is
healthy, barefoot sound and has always had excellent
care. I bought him less than two years ago from an
elderly lady whose husband passed away. They owned
Sandhill Arabians. They carefully selected breedings
from the finest Egyptian Arabian Mares crossed to
specifically selected Polish Arabian Stallions. They had
proven their breeding choices in halter classes in
Canada and the United States. Moon was the last colt
born at their stables. They put several months of
training on him in the first 5 years but not much else
until I bought him on November of 2005. I have ridden
him in the arena and on the trail both English and
Western. Moon and I have spent many hours with
Connected Riding as well as Parelli groundwork.
Unexpected events will be taking me out of the States
for a few years and I am looking for the best home
possible for this loveable, willing and eager to learn
guy. He is for an int/experienced rider as he has an
energetic "let's go!" attitude.
