Stunning old world blood
lines, 2001 chestnut mare.
15.2 hands. Outstanding
prospect for endurance riding,
show or breeding. Lola has
world champion old bloodlines
and wonderful disposition. Her
parents are both accomplished
show park horses, with her dam
never losing on any round
entered in the Colorado
regionals. Her mother would
have gone all the way to the
World Championships but her
owner, Ted Willrich, was aging
at that time and was unable to
take her there because of this.
Lola is from the last of
famous trainer and breeder,
Ted Willrich's last remaining
stock and as such you can be
assured you are getting some
of the best lines available in
the Morgan world.
Lola is a beautiful mare,
incredible movement worthy of
her lineage. She has proven
herself as an extraordinary
broodmare and has dropped a
goregous, large and very
beautiful filly 04/21/07, who
has equally wonderful movement
and height. We are so excited
about this foal and
Unfortunately, we have to sell
Lola and her foal because we
are moving overseas. Lola was
brought as a show horse when
she was 2 years old but due to
our moving circumstances we
decided to put her into foal
to see what sort of foal she
would drop before we left. The
foal has NOT disappointed
us!!! You just CAN'T loose on
this one !! Lola was green
broke as a 3 year old, and
although her main job has been
as a great broodmare, she has
been ridden and would make a
very nice western pleasure
horse, show horse, show park
horse or broodmare with some
more miles on her. She will
have a quick refresher course
under saddle this spring, and
just needs work on the
'finishing touches'. She will
be put into an extensive daily
training program mid summer
and at this time her price
will increase to reflect this.
Has 90 days of saddle training
followed by some casual trail
riding and competition
endurance racing. Due to her
level of training, this mare
is best suited for an
experienced rider at this
time. She is fun to ride,
being responsive, smooth,
showy, energetic without being
nervous. Lola is an easy
breeder, easy foaler and a
great mother - we feel some of
her true strengths lies in the
incredible foal she has
produced, her size as a Morgan
and her wonderful floating
movement, characteristic of
the true champions.
We regret to sell this
wonderful horse and foal but
because we are moving
overseas, we must sell. With
her incredible bloodlines ,she
will enhance your breeding
program greatly, and is truly
a wise investment and
