This gorgeous little colt is a beauty, he has color and
conformation.His dam has been DNA tested as a perlino
so this little guy has to be a buckskin, despite his bayish
appearance. Since Pearls last filly went through a similar
phase and looked chestnut as a newborn before
lightening up to smutty palomino, we expect this little
guy to lighten up with his foal shed into a very nice
smutty buckskin. We let Pearls previous owner name
her colt, and they chose the name SS Docs Premonition.
Weve decided to call him Docster for short, after his
sire. Going by his hip and chest this little guy ought to
easily have the bulk to be able to show at halter against
Quarter horses and win, and with the pedigree behind
this little guy he should have a lot to offer as a
performance horse, too! His sire, Prescription for Lena
(aka Doc, at stud at Double S Ranch in Angleton,
Texas), is an own son of the APHA Supreme Reining
Horse and ROM Jr Working Cowhorse stallion Flying
Little Lena and grandson of both Docs Prescription and
Smart Little Uno (by Smart Little Lena) with multiple
ROMs in working cowhorse in his close-up pedigree,
which also includes several reining and cutting
champions and even a few Hall of Fame horses. This
colts pedigree is packed with enough dynamite to make
him a serious competitor in the show ring!This colt
should mature to be a large pony or small horse in the
13 to 14 hand range, and has the pedigree,
conformation, and flashy markings to be a great all-
around prospect and potential herdsire. Wed really like
to see this one go to a show or breeding home! He can
be registered with IQPA (International Quarter Pony)
and APPR (American Paint Pony Registry) I will be
sending in his PtHA (Pinto)registration this month so he
will sale with PtHA papers. Will hold till weaning with
50% down til weaned. Asking $1200
