Quarter Horse Gelding for Sale in Alberta - Poco Skedadle Jack

Horse Description

We purchased Poco Skedadle Jack, aka Sonny, in 2001 to start our breeding program of American Quarter Horses. His wonderful personality makes him a pleasure to work with. Sonny stands 14.1 hh high. He is an extremely easy keeper. Sonny was gelded on May 1, 2006 as we have totally re-vamped our breeding program. Sonny was started in 2003 as a 4 year old and did very well. Unfortunately, I have had some health issues that have prevented me from riding so he does not have as many miles under saddle as most horses his age. But every time I would tack him up, he was the same as before, whether it be 2 months or a year between rides. I have had others ride him for me to keep his training going, the last being in the fall of 2006. He was gone for a month and came home a great little horse. Due to my health problems, we have decided to sell Sonny as he really deserves to be in a home where he will have a job. Sonny has been ridden steady for the last 40 days and is doing really well - even venturing out on a trail ride wiht no issues. NEEDS CONFIDENT RIDER $2000 CDN OBO
