TRI-COLOR QH TOBIANO PAINT !!! Lakota looks like a bay Quarter Horse with white splashed on him--APHA says he is a base color of brown. All of his white shows when he is under saddle. Lakota completed his training under saddle (green broke) during Feb and Mar'07, with a professional trainer. I ground worked him with saddle, and some riding, most of the Summer of '06. Lakota is a very gentle natured horse, and wants to please. His Quarter Horse pedigree is loaded with working horse "Legends", renowned for their versatility and athletic abilities. My knowledge of Lakota's Paint Horse pedigree is what is on his registration papers-- my sister owned his sire. With a few trail rides, to expose him to unfamiliar situations and expand his world, Lakota will be ready to take on barrel racing or other challenges.
