Larado has been SOLD. Larado has had much training
and we've been on some trail rides and he does well.
He's never thrown me, he's
had to get out of the way of a rattlesnake once and only
hopped sideways. He's also had to get out of the way of
a kicking horse on a trail ride, and again, only hopping
sideways. I am a green owner and have recently moved
him to a boarding facility where I was not comfortable
tending to him (can explain further). Needless to say,
he's not been on a trail for over a year. Had two small
children (ages 7 & 2) on him (both at same time even)
just three months ago walking him around pasture. He
was an angel. He's hard to get moving. I had started
small jumps with him and he did well. Again, I have no
idea what I'm doing so someone interested in turning
him into ANYTHING would probably work. He has MUCH
MUCH potential, and really he's a great horse but
currently just needs some fine tuning. It's probably been
about 3 months since last had him in round pen. He was
lazy, but didn't forget anything ! Hate to sell him, LOVE
him, he's beautiful tri colored Tobiano and I do trust
him, but I just don't have the experience to tune him up
and gain his respect and love, I don't believe. He's UTD
on everything, even his teeth were floated about 1.5
months ago. Has natural feet and has them trimmed
every 6 weeks. He's just wasting away in a pasture -
beautiful with potential (this kills me !). Has been to the
Arena just playing around and seemed to get used to it.
He just needs someone to make him perfect. I will look
for an older horse with a "been there, done that"
resume. Would be interested in trade of older horse.
Needs company in pasture; he gets lonely without a
friend. Contact me if you're seriously interested and IF
you have a GOOD home for him. Needs the right
person - I just don't think it's me. Price is negotiable.
