Horse Description
Jem Slam is a beautiful AQHA 4.3H 3-yr-old mahogany bay gelding with two socks and a star. He has 6 months foundation training, arena and trails. Jemmy ties, trailers, and bathes with no problems. He rides collected in all 3 gaits, takes leads, backs, side passes, and has a good stop. He is quiet on the trails and is well started into neck reining. He has no bad habits. Jemmy is quiet-minded, athletic, and gentle, with excellent ground manners. He has a very sweet disposition and enjoys spending time with people. This gelding has an outstanding pedigree. On his sire’s side, he is 3rd generation Peppy San Badger, producer of many champions and champion-producing sires. Jemmy is 2nd generation Badger Starlight, who is a full brother to Gray’s Starlight, Gallo del Cielo, and Paddy’s Irish Whiskey, all producers of multiple national champions in cutting, reining, and working cow horse. On the dam’s side, he is 2nd generation Sugar Vandy, who sired 3 national champions in the National Reined Cowhorse Association in the 1970’s. Jemmy’s pedigree includes many famous 4th, 5th, and 6th generation foundation quarter horse sires, such as Doc Bar, Doc O Lena, Sugar Bars, Poco Tivio, and Vandy.
