Quarter Horse Gelding for Sale in Virginia - Tigers Kool Bar

Horse Description

Tigers Kool Bar or TK as we call him is a wonderful gelding. He is 15.1 and nice and stocky. He is my husbands horse and my husband is 6'3, 245lbs. He has a really nice handle on him. He turns on the hind and front. Has worked cows. Neck reins nicely. Stops on a dime with his butt tucked under and slides. Will ride in a snaffle or a simple tom thumb. Soft mouth. I've also ridden him english and he did quite nicely. Moves off of leg really nice and is learning to collect properly. ( Video clips are available. He has a nice jog or will pick up that ground covering trot. Nice easy lope and can get up and go when asked. Will trail ride lead or follow. Crosses anything. He is quite enough for a youngster to ride. But can be a bit stubborn if the youngster isnt firm and clear with their signals. He has never misbehaved. Never tried to run off or buck. No bad habits. Can be kept in a stall or in a run in situation. Very easy keeper. Not ever spooky. Gets along well with other horses. I actually used him as a baby sitter for a weanling colt I had. And he has taken on the task of babysitting this years foals as well. He is very friendly and loves attention. He has great feet can go barefoot as he is now but can wear shoes as well. He's an all around great gelding. We will be moving in the near future, we just had a baby and I've got two horses I need to start training again now that I've had the baby. My husband just doesnt have the time to devote to TK that he deserves and I don't really have time to work 3 horses. He's to nice a horse to not have a job so we have decided to let him go.
