Horse Description

Show prospect. Registered Canadian Sport Horse. Black gelding with white hind socks and a white stripe down his nose. By Prinz Habicht out of Kalanthe (Trak/TB). This strong, athletic and handsome gelding will catch the judges eye in any discipline. He has a beautiful head, lots of chrome and the conformation, movement, elasticity, extension and suspension to go with it. This young gelding is the fifth of Kalanthe's colts and should follow in the footsteps of his brother's and finish around 16.3hh. His sire, Prinz Habicht, by the great Carino, has made his mark in both the Hunter and Dressage world, winning numerous awards in both. He began his dressage career in 2001 when he was awarded the Rider's Habit Basic Gold Medal and was Champion of both the Basic 3 and 4 Amateur Divisions at the National level. In 2003 he attained his Silver Premium Status with the Canadian Sport Horse Association with numerous wins and high marks competing at the Third and Fourth level in National competitions. Prinz Habicht and his rider, Lori Brown are currently competing at the FEI Level with excellent results. In the Hunter ring he was: 1997 Champion- Senior Training Hunter,1998 Reserve Champion- Adult Amateur Hunter, 1998 Champion Rider's Habit Medal, 1998 Reserve Champion Young Hunter Award, 1999 Champion "A" Circuit Adult Equitation. His dam, Kalanthe is from the legendary Schickendanz farm, birthplace of Abdullah, Olympic Silver Medallist in Individual Show Jumping and Amiego who was ridden by Peter Gray for Bermuda in the Olympic Three Day Event.
