Horse Description

First off, HE is named Lucy because the people we bought him from said that he acted just like his mother (her name was lucy) so that is what they had been calling him. Lucy is a very cow-bred breeding stock paint. He is the grandson of (Color Me Smart--world champion APHA cutting horse and ROM) as well as the great-grandson of (Docs Lynx--AQHA--Equistat top 15 all time leading cutting sire,Top five NCHA Futurity, and full brother to docs prescription). He is broke to ride and gentle, usually one of the first ones to the gate when we drive up (and we usually don't have feed). This past summer we sent him to YMCA camp, and they said that he was too much for the small children to ride, but the novice councelors rode him all summer, and they were teenagers. He is a very pretty colt and very quick on his feet, but he IS NOT a runaway. Ask him to walk and he will walk all day, but ask him to go and he can fly. Very willing attitude. With his size, athletic ability and temperament, he has what it takes to excell in the cutting arena, or would make a great all around cow-horse. For more pictures or a video, please email me.
