Thoroughbred Mare for Sale in North Carolina - Chance (REDUCED)

Horse Description

MUST SELL due to illness and financial reasons. We bought Chance over a year ago and she was in very poor condition. She was severely under weight and was losing her hair. She had been kept in a pasture with other horses that ran her from her food. We have worked with her over the past few months and she has improved by leaps and bounds. Chance is young but she has been on several very long trail rides in Love Valley NC and in the mountains in VA. She is a slow mover and has no intentions of getting anywhere faster than you would like her to. She has a smooth ride and she will go across water, up hills, across ditches, and through mud. She likes to be in the middle of the pack or in the rear. She is a wonderful horse and I have let beginners ride her on trail rides with no fear. She is still young so I would like her to go to a home where the rider will be patient with her and will know how to teach her all she needs to learn. she doesnt buck or kick and she walks right up to you in the pasture. Stands tied over night and I have ridden her bareback with just a halter and lead rope. She is an excellent trail horse. Chance loves to be petted and will be the first to walk up to you in the pasture, esp. if she thinks that a treat may be involved. GREAT TRAIL HORSE -if interested, please call instead of email.
