Alteza is a lovely, pearly grey mare with an inquisitive and soft gentle nature. She is tall (stands a little over 16.0 H barefoot) and big boned. Alteza has very impressive, and very old Bocado bloodlines. She is sired by the famous imported stallion from Spain, REGATON II, (wining second place at SICAB the National show for the PRE in Spain). See his website at http://regaton.com. Alteza's dam was also imported from Spain and was a lovely show mare (now deceased). Alteza has an ideal temperament and easy going nature. Like many mares of this breed she does not show heat cycles or have mood swings. Alteza is responsive and willing to learn and will make a great saddle horse. She has a long, rhythmic, pendulum stride, very smooth & balanced at the trot... her movement is breathtaking. Alteza is due to foal 9/08 and could be sold open or with an optional stallion service fee included in her price & bred back (vet, collection and shipping fees excluded). She could also be delivered after her foal is weaned (March 09) with 4-6 months professional training, if you are looking for a riding mare, not for breeding. In the meantime she could be yours with a convenient payment plan while the foal is growing...
