Hootie is a gorgeouse dark palomino mare with a great
confirmation and disposition. She has 3 months of
training, including 30 days at a professional reining
barn. She has been ridden by beginner to advanced
riders and is a fun little mare with comfortable and
smooth gaits. Right now she is being used as a
trail/pleasure horse. She has never been afraid of
ANYTHING and never balked at saddling, bridling or
riding. Loves attention and follows you around like a
puppy dog. She loads, trims, shoes, clips, hauls and
vets like a pro. She has a scar on the front of her right
rear knee. She had a fence run-in that we thought
would be fatal, but she recovered perfectly and never
had any lameness in the leg. She made weekly vet
visits for "freshening" and had the bandage changed and
wound cleaned daily. She never had any problems with
our touching or scrubbing or handling her wound and
was patient and well-behaved for over 13 months worth
of being cooped up and doctored. We have been over,
under, through and around this little mare with
everything from scalpels to sprays to hoses to tarps and
she has never batted an eye. She healed up better than
we expected and is now broke, working and ready to be
put to use. I recently moved to Florida and my family
isn't riding as much as we used to. We have 3 mares
for sale - all great all-around horses. My horses have
excellent manners and level heads. Please feel free to
