This is truly a special gelding for sale to a special
approved home only. I bought him locally just to save
him from neglect - never abused - just not fed or cared
for properly. He has turned out to be one of those
diamonds in the rough. He is SUPER quiet and sweet -
handles like a dream from the ground. If you like
grooming and bathing or spending quality time with
your horse, then he is for you. Ties straight or cross
ties, great for the farrier, good to clip, bathe, blanket
etc.... Lunges easily and is nice to lead around - does
not crowd. Loads and unloads very easily - nice for
travelling. Has been to shows and just hangs at the
trailer watching all the crowds. I have ridden him
extensively on the trail and he is very quiet - I just walk
and slow gait a little - he is not a horse for someone
who wants to run and cowboy him. I work him also on
his arena training, he does all his lateral work, pivots,
side passes and more. All in a snaffle bit. I think he
would make a nice open show gelding for a youth or
amateur in some walk/trot classes (although he walk/
gaits of course.) With some more work he would also be
great as a showmanship horse for the right handler. He
is so sweet and so much fun! I have had him for awhile
now and now he is ready to continue with the right
family. All shots and worming are current, photos are
from this past weekend and not touched up. He is
gorgeous and just breathtaking. APPROVED home only.
He needs no special shoeing or diet - but does have one
scar and old injury that I will disclose if interested in
knowing more about him. If you want a quiet, smooth
and gentle horse you can love on and have fun with,
then he is what you are looking for.
