Nevada is an adorable rose gray TB gelding, 5 years
old, 15.2h with a natural talent for jumping. He uses his
powerful hind end to go in a beautiful frame and to eat
up the distances between jumps in a lovely forward,
controlled rhythm. He's got a great foundation on him,
so he's easy to ride and he is calm and confident in his
work. He's got scope and he's clever over the jumps,
forward-thinking and brave. He's never refused a jump
and he hates to hit. He takes you right on down to the
jump, easy to adjust, perks up his ears for the jump,
then lands, swaps his lead and looks for the next one!
He is green still, but showing wonderful talent for the
jumper ring or for dressage/eventing. I think he is a
wonderful prospect for the child/adult jumpers because
he's so easy to ride, and he has three nice gaits and a
loping, ground-eating rhythmic stride that would lend
itself beautifully to cross-country, in addition to being
brave. He's best for the intermediate and up rider,
ready to finish and show. We go for rides down the road
and visit the neighbors, encountering traffic, mailboxes,
dogs, other horses, etc. so he’s fun on the trail too. He’s
very friendly, likes attention, and he kisses for
peppermints! He’s all fat and shiny and his feet are
great - he’s in wonderful condition; ready to begin his
