Horse Description

This picturesque and very loving Shenadoah Farm is happy to adopt a beautiful healthy, completely sound and enjoyable trail riding horse or horses that would like a very loving lifetime home. We already have two wonderful arabian geldings and a young fox hunter thoroughbred mare...that are as tame and happy as family dogs. We are open to loving at least one other. Ideally the new horse(s) or large pony will be great with beginning rider teenagers, though the two adults are highly experienced riders and will consider others if exceptional in beauty, talent, etc. I am a former Arabian show rider, but we prefer social and trail ridingnow with the occasional social fox chase. We particularly like Gypsy Vanner's, Icelandic Ponies, Halflingers and other draft pony types...or a complete "mutt" who just looks similarly cute! We like a beautiful look and happy personality in our pets. We cannot have horses who show true meanness, severe vices or severe or chronic health issues however. Eleven year old and 15 year old boys and two loving neighbor girls would like to begin riding with us again, so we thought we would put this ad up to find those wonderful horse people who want a great home for their babies, but simply don't have enough time for them anymore. We also would love a pet alpaca, adult or baby. We are not open to buying or leasing though. We have been offered many free horses and thought we would put this ad up to find a particularly beautiful one who is searching for an equally beautiful and pampering home. They will have 20+ breathtaking acres to roam and endless love...
