Horse Description

Bound For Gold is a very hadnsome AWR chestnut colt. He has a very quiet disposition, loves people, very friendly. Has been handled since birth, even by my children. Showing great potential for three elastic gaits. Sire is a known producer of fabulous movement, which this colt has. Striking markings to garner the judges attention. He is big boned and should mature around 17h. Qualified for the East Coast Breed Championship Finals at Dressage at Devon 2007 with Reserve high point colts honors at the Too Hot to Trot Summer Breed Show I at 4 months. He scored high in movement, conformation and attitude at Dressage for Devon, winning the AWR class with a score of 79.4. Received a first premium rating at his AWR inspection. Showing well as a yearling at dressage breed shows. Was high point AWR horse of the morning on the second day, winning the yearling colts and geldings class, aslo received a reserve in the AWR breed class in the afternoon of the VADA/NOVA show in June. Must go to a stallion home with a part ownership agreement.
