If you've been looking for a sweet, sensible, "been-
there-done-
that" pony, look no further! Snorp (aka Icy Hot)(Snorp
fra Holti)
has done it all! She
has done playdays, ran barrels, goat tied, had back flips
done off
of her, but she excels foremost in the English discipline.
She has
been shown in hunter/jumper up to 2'9". She has also
been
foxhunted in the Cloudline fields. You can ride her
around bareback
with a halter, or just using your legs to guide her. Snorp
has
evented up to the beginner novice level. She is an
incredible
dressage partner. In dressage, she almost always ends
up in first
place, scoring in the low 30s and mid 20s. Even against
all the big,
fancy warmbloods! She is a former school
horse, thus, very trustworthy. She has been hauled all
over Texas
doing shows and
trail riding. She stands for the farrier and when bathed,
always
loads when asked, we body clip her in the summer, for
her long
coat, and does well while that is performed. Snorp has
given birth
to 2 healthy, beautiful foals. She is never "mare-ish."
She is a four-
gaited Icelandic. She
prefers to trot, but can easily be set up to tolt. This pony
has so
much spunk, personality and turns heads everywhere
we go- a
judge's favorite. She turns on a dime and is very
attentive to her
rider. Snorp is a loving, irresistible, adorable little mare;
unfortunately, all the girls in my family have outgrown
her. A good
home is an absolute MUST. DON'T MISS OUT ON HER!
