Horse Description
Arlo is looking for a teen or adult that wants to have fun
and learn a lot! He would be a great dressage horse or
project horse for 4-h or zone. He is SAFE on the trail
nothing bothers him. Has been to MT Baker and the
Ocean! He is currently training dressage and I would
prefer him to continue as he really enjoys it and will be
spectacular when finished. Arlo is still on the greener
side but is a great fun horse to ride! He has been shown
in walk trot western and has won hi points at numerous
shows and was walk trot western Champion at the 2007
Oregon Gold Haflinger show. He can be shown western
but he does not enjoy it. He can't be shown in western
loping classes as his canter is definitely
dressage/English. He would much rather do dressage.
Arlo has not been shown or ridden Hunt but is an A+
prospect. Arlo does everything he loads, clips, ties,
baths and is just an AMAZING ground horse. He also
knows tricks! He rears, spanish walks, bows, smiles, and
fetches! He love to learn and is very smart. Arlo
represented the Breed at the Horse Around Days where
there were strollers and little kids walking all around
him. He won many hearts! He is a very special horse
that I just don't have time for. He was abused and will
need someone who is understanding and patient For
lease ONLY! I am very flexiable on leaseing terms. He
can either stay here on the farm, we have two highly
qualifed dressage trainers on site or go into training with
his trainer. I am open to approved outside trainers. He
comes with his halter lead rope and winter blanket. I
have several other Haflinger mares that I am willing to
lease to proven show horses to green project horses.
