Horse Description

7 year-old chestnut, Oldenburg gelding for LEASE or 1/2 LEASE. He has been very well taken care of his entire life (I've had him since he was 1 1/2) and is EXTREMELY talented with HUGE POTENTIAL. I have been told a few times that he is FEI worthy. Redford is a very sweet boy but is still a bit green. He has incredible potential but he needs someone that is able to work him a few times a week. I wish I could, but I'm back in school and I just don't have the training time that he needs :( He is also a pretty powerful boy and needs someone that can use their body the correct way, as he HATES riders with strong hands or that are very aggressive. I have only ever ridden him in a loose- ring snaffle bit, and he goes quite well in it. Redford is the type of horse that loves to work and wants to have someone be his partner, not bully him. I've found that if you treat him well, he will do anything for you. I would prefer a half lease or a on-property lease. Redford is on a 800 acre farm in Long Valley with a huge indoor, riding arena, fantastic turnout and miles of trails.. I WILL SPLIT ALL BILLS WITH YOU!! :)
