$2,000 price reduction! AQHA (Appendix) Quarter Horse Gelding, #1305909. New asking price: $10,000. Soon to be activated student loan has caused me to market my bay gelding for sale on the Big Island. Seasoned and well trained barrel, pole and rope performance horse is a sacrifice. This gelding has been lightly used in U.S.T.R.C. ropings in 2005 - 2007, as well as running cans and poles occasionally in local rodeos. He will also be used by my husband at the July 2008 U.S.T.R.C. Waimea event. The horse has been very well maintained, and as such has many, many more good years of skill and performance ahead of him. Energy is not a problem for this horse, especially since he has been raised on a 100-acre ranch for the past 7 ½ years. Good size, stands approximately 15 - 15.1 hands, about 1050 lbs with good withers. He is light, supple, and you can ride him in a ring snaffle to do just about anything, however, he does require an experienced rider, which could include strong youth and high school riders.
