Horse Description

Guimauve, aka Gu, is an amazing mare suitable for any level of rider. She has competition experience with CTR, dressage, hunter under saddle, english pleasure, and halter. She takes ribbons almost every time she enters the ring. She has over 2,000 miles of trail experience and handles any terrain or obstacle with calmness and sense. Don't let her age fool you; Gu can keep up with or surpass any horse at our facility. She has no health issues, a great work ethic, and wonderful, athletic conformation. She came off the race track at five, was trained in dressage for several months, and has been a very active trail and lesson horse for the last 3 years. And she's flashy enough to satisfy even the vainest rider! Sheâ€檚 so well trained that she almost reads your mind, responding very well to seat and leg cues, as well as being very light in the mouth. Gu rides regularly on trail rides and in her CTR competitions with just a rope halter and lead rope, and she neck reins when ridden bitless. The restrictions of her lease are that she must remain at Bridlewood, she'll be used occasionally for riding lessons, and her owner will take her on weekend away rides 3 to 4 times per year. Her lease also stipulates that her owner will remain responsible for ROUTINE vet care and farrier service.
