Horse Description
This 9-year-old mare has amazing bloodlines, her line
having been bred for and performing in CTR and
endurance at the national level. Her conformation is
near perfect. Star has wonderful gaits, her trot in
particular, and she’s currently under training to enter
the arena as a hunter/jumper. This is a place where we
feel she’ll truly excel.

Star also has extensive experience as a trail horse in
some very difficult terrain. She’s been idle for the last
couple of years due to the health issues of her previous
owner. We’ve gotten her back out on the trail and are
working to get the excess weight off her. Star has great
feet and has been barefoot for over 3 years. She hasn’t
had any trouble handling any of our terrain.

Star needs a confident intermediate to advanced rider
with educated hands. She is very soft in her mouth and
works well off your seat and legs. As she gains
experience with jumping, we’ll post pics of her working
over poles.

Star has only had one owner previous to coming to
Bridlewood. The only reason she was sold is the decline
of her previous owner’s health. She is very personable
and willing to please, but has wonderful spirit and is
interested in everything.

Star has the best legs you’ll ever see, is very balanced
and correct, and has a very efficient and collected way
of going. She looks incredible under saddle and has to
conformation to handle any discipline.
