Horse Description
Hillbilly Deluxe is a 16.3h, Hanovarian/TB X. Ridden by
Angela Shaw, this horse has been successfully
competing for a number of years. Within 2006 this
gelding finished 1st in the open training division at
Killusty, and was in the top 5 training level at
Checkmate, Wits End, Grandview, and Glen Oro,
earning him open training reserve champ for the year.
He also competed prelim at Stonehill, Glen Oro, and
Grandview, placing 2nd at Grandview. Within 2007 this
geldings career has become more focused on the stdium
ring. He placed 2nd at Hendervale, and Halton place in
the 1.0m classes, and had many other clear rounds at A
circuit shows, in the 1.0m, and 1.1m classes. He is an
extremely willing and tidy jumper, with a laid back
attitude, and apt concentration on task at hand. He is a
push mount, but shows wonderful movement and
impulsion in all 3 gaits. He easily rounds on the bit in all
3 strides, and can preform a wide array of dressage
movements. He is extremely quiet and easy to work
around, with no vices. Gets along well with other horses,
easy keper, up to date on all vetrinary and blacksmith
maintanance. Video available upon request.
