Horse Description

14.3H 7 yr old full Arabian gelding. (not registered, but could be - great-grandson of Aladdinn!!). VERY sturdy, very tough. 8" cannons, fantastic size 1 hooves, strong short back, low-set hocks. Ricky is extremely athletic with ability to do reining, jumping, endurance or dressage. Smooth transitions, balanced gaits, collected canter and direct movement. Ricky has been ridden on the trail and in the arena. Ricky was an orphan foal and is REALLY affectionate but has respectful ground manners. He loves attention and is always ready to go, meeting you at the gate. He goes through water, crosses bridges and logs, and is good with dogs and traffic. He's a better follower than a leader, but is getting more confident all the time. Ricky loads, ties, and stands well for the farrier and vet. Ricky has competed successfully in 3 endurance rides this year and has been to one horse show, competing in English Pleasure and Equitation. His rider is a 13 yr old intermediate rider and he handled new places with her with curiosity and attentiveness. He has NEVER had the slightest bit of lameness and has never had any health issues.
