SPOTTED DRAFT Rides English+Western, Parelli Natural Horsemanship L1 *Temperment: 3 (1-10, 1=bombproof, 10=VERY high strung) *NASDHA Premium (full draft, no light blood) mare Lady Maude (barn name Ivy), first generation pure Spotted Draft with Belgian (Rubis & Farceur lines) and Percheron background. *Black & white Tobiano pattern, has a full, undocked tail. *Foaled May 2001, will soon be 7 yrs. old. *Does not lean on farrier! Has great, unshod feet and is trimmed regularly. *UTD on shots, Coggins, worming, feet, teeth. *Professional training started as a yearling, professionally started under saddle at 3 with combination of natural horsemanship & traditional methods. Ivy & I have passed Parelli Natural Horsemanship level 1 and are currently learning level 2. *Rides English, Western & bareback. Started leg yields, knows direct/indirect reins, some neck rein, backs well, jumps. 3 trot speeds, smooth canter & ext. trot, knows cues for & picks up correct leads. Our favorite gait is jog/sitting trot. *Successfully navigates trail courses designed for light breeds, including backing through L shape & 360 degree turn box.
