Horse Description

Iris is AMHA reg. at 32.75". She is pasture bred to a 30.5" Black Pinto stallion for an AMHA foal (Bond, Texans Big Bad John, Rowdy breeding). She's a sweet mare, but is timid. Stands well for farrier. Needs to be caught with grain or else in a smaller confinement. She's getting more friendly. She ties on a lunge line too (tied out on grass in summer). She's got a good bite & legs. She's got an excellent pedigree- "an oldie but a goodie". She just needs someone to be able to spend more time with her. I am offering her as I need to let a few go & since she's the newest and not as tame as I'd like, she's offered. If I don't sell her, I don't mind either as I've become attached to this little mare.
