Horse Description

"Shorty" is an off the track TB. She was raced in
October 2007, and I bought her sight unseen from her
trainer since I love the TB that I had purchased
previously. I barrel race, and shorty is not built for that
sport. She has the body type and head set to do very
well under an english saddle, and I don't ride english. I
personally think that she would do great in the show ring
as a jumper with the right training. She is a little herd
bound, but that's because she's never been alone.
Current on worming, and hoof care. I have her
barefoot, and she's doing great. Shorty has been on a
few trail rides and has done great. She will step over
logs, go through mud and puddles, over bridges, and is
traffic safe. She is a timid leader, but will follow the
leader through anything. She does need an
intermediate to experienced rider. *update. my 15
year old neice has been riding Shorty. Is working on
teaching her to neck rein and is teaching her to bend
and flex. Shorty will walk, trot, lope, back, and also has
a whoa.
