Horse Description

CRICKET is an 8 year old Arabian/Appaloosa mare. Registered in both breed associations. She's a cute chestnut mare with a big blaze and 3 white stockings. She was 3 and started under saddle when I got her and was born on the farm I bought her from. She had 60 days professional training at Tom Robert's. SHe was actually the demo horse for John Lyon's two years in a row at the Mid-Michgan Horse Expo. My family and I use her mostly on the trails, especially Oak Openings which is right down the road from us. I am 17 and have shown her through 4H at Lucas County Fair and also on the high school equestrian team. She is cool calm and collected with dogs, tractors, trucks, practically anything. If she is nervous of something, she does not bolt she just simply looks at it and wants to be reassured. I've ran barrel and pole patterns with her. I think she would be excellent in hunter or dressage. If not however, she is excellent on the trail. I recently bought a new gelding and am too busy to ride both of them.
