Keyenta is a very willing and intelligent colt, and he has
a good foundation on him. He has excellent ground
manners (easy to catch, leads respectfully, clips,
bathes, ties, loads, ground ties, longes, ground drives,
stands for farrier and vet, easy to tack up, absolutely no
vices). He is in good health, is an easy keeper, my
farrier loves his feet and he goes barefoot. He has a
refined look from his Arabian sire, but is sturdy and has
the willing and easy going disposition of a Morgan. He
has been lightly but consistantly worked undersaddle for
his 3yo year and has quite a few miles of trails. He
crosses water, goes over logs, leads or follows or goes
out alone. He's not spooky, but he's very interested in
his surroundings which makes for a fun ride. He has
absolutely never bucked or reared, has a solid "whoa,"
steers well with leg and rein pressure and is picking up
neck reining quickly. I have only ridden him in a rope
halter and bitless bridle, but he accepts the bit and
bridle and carries it.
Keyenta really bonds to his caregiver; he aims only to
please and enjoys being near you. He's an excellent trail
horse, and with more miles he'll be that trusty horse you
can put anybody on and not worry. He also has the
heart, stamina, and sturdy conformation for distance
riding competitions. He is flashy and sensible and would
be a great 4-H horse.
I have owned him since birth and am only selling him
because my interests have changed and I'll be looking
