Horse Description

Thumper (barn name) has just turned 4 years old and is a registered Solid Paint gelding. I have his Certificate of Registration but have never transferred it into my name. He is broke to ride. He walks and trots good but needs some work on his lope since he gets overly excited (which was not the case before winter). He has not been ridden much during the winter so he needs someone to work with him more as he is a bit rusty with his skills. He also needs work with the handling of his rear feet for the ferrier. His front feet can be handled fine. His good points are: He is a gentle and friendly horse that used to be ridden by my son before winter. He needs to be straightened back out before I would put a kid or inexperienced rider on him though. He rarely gets spooked and I ride him up and down the road no problem. He rides with and gets along fine with other horses too. His feet have been trimmed and he has been wormed recently. He is due for all of his shots for 2008. With a little more work, he will be a great horse! He is just turning 4. He is still young! Interested parties please note that I do not accept checks as payment. Cash only. Thanks!
