Horse Description

Play Wild N Sassy aka "Sassy" is a 2003 bay AQHA mare that is a daughter of Mr Play Holly, a son of Playgun one of the top cutting stallions in the world. Was started under saddle as a two year old with the help of Jim Anderson for about 3 months. She is really smart, Jimmy's wife said that she was one of the smartest two year olds they have ever had. Has been ridden on the trails, in arenas, in a 15,000 head feedlot a couple times. Been ridden bareback with just a halter. I have thrown a rope off of her a couple times. I can stand on her back, slide off her butt ect. Very smart little horse picks up things very easily. Collects, sidepasses, turns on the haunches, turns on the for hand, starting to spin, opens gate, backs up, does all gaits really well, awesome stopper, really plants it. Carries her head low and is extremely soft. Is currently being used in 4-H by a older rider. Was used in 4-H as a weanling and yearling in the young horse project. Leads well, will trot beside me. Very pretty horse with a beautiful head, good legs, nice hip, pretty bay color, really pretty. Not very big stands about 14.1 hands. Ties, loads, hauls, clips, bathes, trims, ect really well. Her sire is grey, her dam is black. Would make a nice team penner, gymkhana, reiner, brood mare ect. Sassy would make a awesome gymkhana horse for a younger more confident child as she is still alot of horse or team penner as she sure does have the pedigree and athletic ability. Her sire is a proven producer of cow horses including her half sister Rose Holly, a numerous working cow horse champion.
