I am posting this on behalf of a friend, so please use

Bird is a very kind, gentle registered 16hh TB gelding.
He is 13 years old. He is an absolute doll, very sooky
and loves to be fussed over and be scratched behind the
ears...loves his face brushed as well! He was raced on
the track for one year but deemed 'not fast enough'
(although he had some wins!). His registered name is
Blues And Sass and he is registered with the Canadian
Jockey Club. He has been retrained english, and has a
very lovely walk, trot and canter although he can be a
bit fast at the canter, so he needs a more experienced
rider as he is still learning and needs some finishing
touches. He needs a light hand and is very respectful of
both natural aids and voice commands, no whips or
spurs necessary, would make a lovely jumper. He has
jumped up to 2'6 - 3' on his own and has free jumped as
well. He is an easy keeper, has good feet and is easy to
groom, tack up and work around. He trailers well, no
problems loading, during transit or coming off the
trailer, also ties and is good with his feet. Easy to mount
up and dismount as well. He has no vices, is sound and
no health problems to date. His legs are clean and he is
quite well built. Selling to a good home only, serious
inquiries only by a parent or coach. Asking $2000 obo,
all reasonable offers will be considered! Need to sell this
lovely boy asap as his owner has small kids just
learning to ride and they are looking for something
more suitable for them. Only a loving, caring home will
be accepted for him!
He is located in Musquodoboit, NS. He can be viewed
and ridden on property but there is no where to jump
him as the barn is newly built and there is no riding ring
yet as they only had time to get the barn in before
winter but he can be ridden in his paddock.
He comes with his halter and registration papers.
