This gal is calm and easy with excellent ground & saddle manners. She is very easy to ride and responds to simple voice commands. Truly, if you can sit in a chair (more like on your couch!), you can ride her - she makes a complete novice feel like a pro! She is naturally gifted in gait and this also makes her EASY to ride! She has a SMOOTH, SMOOTH, SMOOTH, barefoot gait and ANYONE can ride her - she will gait for ANYONE - no gimmicks, no special skills required from the rider - just sit there and ride! This well-built, 14.3-15h, 9-year old has miles and miles of trail experience and handles the trails safely & calmly. You can ride her, knowing beyond a doubt that you can enjoy the trails without worry or apprehension because she will take care of you! From the coast to the mountains, she has been exposed to all types of terrain, barking dogs and other livestock, bicycles, traffic including motorcycles, lawn mowers, tractors, and heavy equipment. She direct reins, backs easily and rides both western and english. She is super confident and independent and will go out easily to ride alone! She also does great ridden in large groups, whether it is leading the group, somewhere in the middle, or happily bringing up the rear! She is NOT Spooky. Desensitized to hikers, ATV's, traffic, bikes, ropes, tarps & kids playing! Loads/Unloads/Re-loads and trailers well on any trailer. Ties, clips, grooms, and bathes, stands for the farrier and vet. Stands still to mount and dismount. She has NO vices, NO health issues and up to date on all vaccinations, worming and hoof care.
