Horse Description

Besides a registered AQHA, Rebel is eligible for 5 other registries. IBHA, ABRA, NFQHA, FQHR, and WFQHA. Rebel carries one cream gene. He was trained to act like a gelding before he was allowed to breed and his first breeding season was last year. We decided to see what he would throw first, before offering him to the public. He only bred one mare last year, and boy was his first foal waiting for! A gorgeous cremello dun (will have him tested) colt. "Cody" has a huge hip, deep chest, refined neck, strong topline, and straight legs. Rebel has been used as a ranch horse, a pony horse, roping and even an enjoyable trail horse. He was trained and shown (in local circuits) in Reining and Reined Cow Horse, but will need a bit of a refresher. He would make a nice show horse in AQHA, IBHA, FQHR and more big shows with a bit of tune up. He stands for the farrier and vet, bathes, loads, clips, ties, etc. He can be ridden bareback and with a halter or with a saddle and bridle. He is handled by a 16 yr. old girl and has not had a chain over his nose since he has been here. Rebel has only been pasture bred so far, but has started on hand breeding. He has settled every mare on first try so far. Rebel goes back to: Triple Chick, Three Bars (5 times), King Glo (twice), King (15 times!), Joe Hancock (twice), Skipper W (twice), Wimpy (twice), Leo, Poco Bueno, Boston Mac, Mr. Joe Glo, Royal Tailwind, and so many more!
