Horse Description
Clare is a black draft cross with a star and a thick, long mane. Her Dam is an 18 hand grey percheron and her sire is a 17 hand black and white appendix paint. I have done the "cowboy" measurement and she should finish at 16+ hands. She leads, loads, ties and stands great for the vet/farrier. She has her feet trimmed every 10 weeks as she has very hard, nice black hooves. She gets along great with other horses and I have sacked her out with anything I can find from tarps to burlap sacks to plastic bags. Nothing phases her. I have also leaned over her back several times but never sat on her due to her age. She has worn a bareback pad and didnt care at all. I have started lunging training her and will plan to start riding her in the fall (as she will be 2 in September). She is a finer boned draft cross which makes her great for dressage, but she could do anything from jumping to eventing to pulling a carriage. Price neg. Please email for additional pictures.
