Horse Description
Rusty is a 13.3hh liver chestnut pony. This Halflinger cross is 8 years old and has very flashy movement. He would make a great dressage, hunter or equitation pony. He w/t/c, jumps 2'3-2'6 courses and moves in a frame. Rusty has jumped up to 3'0 and is good for off- property hacks. He has a fantastic extended and collected trot, hand gallops, leg yields and started work on counter-canter. Finished 9th overall in the Challenge Hunter Series Beginner 13+ division in 2006. Placed first in all his hack classes at the Hendervale schooling shows, making him overall champion two shows in a row (2007/08), and finished 3rd overall in the point standings. Placed at every show he attended this summer and recently won overall champion in 2'3 Pony Hunters. Good for the vet and blacksmith. Good with children.
